 Hi im Vicky the Director of Mud and Maps, If you are reading this, you have signed up to the DofE with your school or organisation in 2022 and Mud and Maps has been hired to carry out your Expedition training.

 OR you have enrolled with us directly on a 'Open Expedition' as an individual through EventBrite.

Either way please follow the below steps

Expedition Process: How to sign up to an expedition 
Step#1:  Sign up to the DofE award First with your School/ organization
Mud and Maps supports young people with the Expedition section only. Please enrol at your school or an open award centre first as you need an eDofE  number before you can start your DofE Award. 

The other 3 sections will be supported by your school/ organization.
Step #2: Sign up to an Expedition at school or on Eventbrite
Once you have signed up to the DofE, you need to join the School Expedition. If you have already done this and your teacher has sent you here then go directly to the training area to log in and start your Theory Training.

If your school has asked you to book an expedition directly with us, carry out step 3
Step#3: 'Open' Expedition booking process through EventBrite 
If your school has informed you to book direct with us for the expedition section then you need to purchase a ticket through EventBrite first.

In this current climate Mud and Maps has had to change some of our face to face theory sessions with online theory sessions.
This allows the young people to work through the training at their own pace. 
This is combined with the Practical training day to gives the young people all the knowledge they need to go on to the Qualifying expedition.
